A California attorney says that Cosby assaulted her 30 years ago. 57-year-old Tamara Green says she stepped forward because of her fears that allegations made by another woman would not be taken seriously. Green says that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in exactly the same way as former college basketball star Andrea Constand claims Cosby assaulted her last year.
Green claims that Cosby gave her drugs and then when they took effect he tried to take off her cloths. When that didn't work she claims that Cosby then placed $200 on a table and left.
Montgomery County, Pa., officials are currently deciding on whether to file charges for the accusations made by Constand. Prosecutors are reportedly not likely to make a move on these new allegations but that has not stopped the Cosby camp from fighting back.
Cosby's attorney, Warren Phillips, called Green's accusations "absolutely false". Another attorney for Cosby reportedly emailed reporters and TV news producers a copy of a New York Post story from Wednesday that reports on a 13-count bar complaint against Green that was filed last March.
Cosby reportedly has told his attorney
that he has never meet Green and that his encounter with Constand was consensual.
