Guns N' Roses Surprised By AC/DC's Angus Young

Guns N' Roses received a surprise welcome from AC/DC guitarist Angus Young as they arrived at the airport in Sydney for upcoming down under leg of their Not In This Lifetime reunion tour.

The band will be kicking off their Australian and New Zealand leg of the tour tonight (Feb 10) at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney but when they arrived in the country they were temporarily held on the plane, only to receive the surprise welcome.

Duff McKagan recalled what happened via Twitter. He wrote, "Told we had to stay on plane last night in Sydney - 'airport security' wanted to do a check. We waited. It was Angus Young in an orange vest!"

There is speculation that Young may join the band onstage at some point during the tour leg but nothing has been confirmed by either party. Young jammed onstage with the group during the Coachella festival last year.
