(Radio.com) Mariah Carey has canceled a South American leg of her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour, citing "promoter negligence." Fans with tickets in Brazil, Argentina and Chile can receive full refunds for their purchases, and Carey gave an upbeat statement despite the disappointment.
"To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled," Carey shared in a statement to E! News. "Thank you for all of the excitement and love--I hope to see you soon, my darlings!"
Two Latin American dates in Monterrey and Mexico City will go forward in November, as well as a five-day residency in New York City this December. Read more here.
