Cole Swindell Releases 'You've Got My Number' Video

(Radio.com) Cole Swindell plays with the concert music video trope in his new single "You've Got My Number," which appears on his forthcoming EP Down Home Sessions III.

Typically concert music videos combine energetic shots of an artist performing with behind-the-scenes footage of what life is like between shows. Swindell plays with that tradition, though. He instead blends brief performative moments onstage, where he gets the crowd revved up, with more personal shots that ostensibly show him "after hours."

Wearing a "CS" hat, Swindell stands underneath a bridge and walks darkened streetpresumably after his showand bemoans the fact that the woman who has his number hasn't called. Even when he can turn it on at his concerts and give fans a good time, privately he's wounded when love doesn't come his way. It's a sentimental, personalized play on the music video trope that inevitably arises in every artist's career. Watch the video here.
