(Radio.com) The Lazarus soundtrack, featuring the last recording by music legend David Bowie, was released on Friday (October 21st) and is now available to stream in full online.
In the last months of his life, David Bowie wrote an off-Broadway musical called Lazarus. A sequel to the 1976 film The Man Who Fell to Earth, which starred Bowie, Lazarus opened to rave reviews at the New York Theatre Workshop in December. It was then commissioned for a London run.
Now, the soundtrack for the musical is available for streaming. In addition to featuring 19 songs written by Bowie and sung by cast members including Michael C. Hall, the album includes the last three songs Bowie recorded before he died.
'No Plan" , 'Killing A Little Time" , and 'When I Met You" were all written and recorded by Bowie specifically for Lazarus and are believed to his final recordings. Listen to the full album here.
