(Radio.com) It's been years since Jay Z and Dame Dash parted ways as founders of Roc-A-Fella Records, but the pair have a new joint legal victory to celebrate. A $7 million lawsuit brought against Jay and Dash has been dismissed by a federal court.
The suit alleged that the founders of Roc-A-Fella failed to make royalty payments and other compensation to designer Dwayne Walker, who claimed he was contracted to provide logo art for the label.
Jay's team argued that no sufficient evidence exists to prove such a contract was ever signed. And Walker failed to provide the contract. Witness testimony, the judge ruled, would not prove the case. Read more here.
