Coldplay Reveal New Version Of 'Everglow'

Coldplay have released a new 'stripped-down' version of their track "Everglow." The original incarnation of the song was from the band's latest album "A Head Full Of Dreams.

The group revealed the following details on how the new version came about "At the band's Glastonbury Festival headline performance in June, a technical mishap meant Chris Martin was forced to deliver an unrehearsed solo performance of 'Everglow.'

"The band liked it so much that they recorded a new, similarly stripped-down version of the song for release. A newly posted clip on Instagram shows Martin recording the new version, which also features an audio excerpt of Muhammad Ali speaking to a live studio audience in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1977."
