Early Pink Floyd Previously Unreleased Song Goes Online

(Radio.com) A previously unreleased early Pink Floyd track written by original member Syd Barrett and recorded in 1967, "Vegetable Man," has finally seen the light of day and is streaming online.

The online premiere of the track comes ahead of the upcoming box set release, The Early Years 1965-1972. Pink Floyd wrote the song for their second album, but it never made the cut and was subsequently never released or broadcast.

The short track is about two minutes long and resembles the band's earlier singles like "See Emily Play" and "Bike" in terms of the meter and the staccato-like lyrical delivery. Read more here.
