ZZ Top Announce Tour With Gov't Mule

ZZ Top may have been forced off the road earlier this year after Dusty Hill was injured, but he appears to be on the mend as the band has announced their next U.S. trek.

The legendary Texas rockers will be teaming up with Gov't Mule to launch a short trek in September that will include stops in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois, and Missouri.

The eight-city tour will be kicking off on September 9th in Wantagh, NY at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and will wrap up on September 20th in Kansas City, MO at the Starlight Theatre.

ZZ Top frontman Billy F Gibbons had the following to say, "ZZ Top and the Mule are cut from the same dyed-in-the blues cloth. I've long admired the band and Warren Haynes' guitar work. He has a certain grit to everything he does. We're gonna have a fine time."
