Guns N' Roses Celebrate Slash's Birthday During NJ Concert

(hennemusic) Guns N' Roses celebrated guitarist Slash's 51st birthday on Saturday with the first of two shows on their Not In This Lifetime tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ and video from the show has been posted online.

Following the debut 2016 performance of the "Chinese Democracy" track "Catcher In The Rye" during their second show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, the band returned to their standard 24-song set for the thirteenth date on the summer reunion run by Slash, Axl Rose and Duff McKagan.

"Incredible crowd at Metlife Stadium tonight!," tweeted Slash after the concert. "Awesome energy! Thank you! Can't wait to do it again tomorrow! RnFnR!" Check out the video here.
