Kip Moore Opens Up About Depression

(Radio.com) Kip Moore has had great success with "I'm to Blame" and "Running for You" from his latest album Wild Ones. But when he was making the record he was battling a severe bout of depression.

'I've said it during shows, that I literally had a hard fight with depression while making this record," he said in a new interview with ET Canada. "It was a tough time in my life. There were a lot of days when it was hard for me to get out of bed. I can't quite explain it to people who don't go through it. It's something I'm just now crawling out of."

Last week, Moore was in the news for busting a texter at one of his shows. As applause-worthy as the move seemed at the time, he country singer shrugged off the stream of reports about the incident. Read his reaction here.
