(TeamRock Radio) Of Mice & Men's Austin Carlile says he wrote the band's latest song Pain because the emotion has defined a "big part" of his life. The band recently issued a video for the track, which is lifted from their upcoming fourth album Cold World.
The vocalist tells Alt Press: "It talks about my personal journey of the last few years and how I relate that to the current state of the world that we live in now. People face pain every day, whether it be physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, metaphysically, metaphorically - everything.
"It's something we wanted to touch on because it's been such a big part of my life and pain in general has been something I have been living and breathing for the past 12, 15 years."
Carlile also says he's looking forward to Of Mice & Men's tour with Slipknot and Marilyn Manson later this summer. He also reveals their upcoming record will include songs that only employ clean vocals. Read more here.
