Bruce Springsteen's First Car Up For Sale On eBay

(Radio.com) Bruce Springsteen's first car, a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air, personifies The Boss. It's cool, suave while its optics breathed the hint of danger, though you'd have no second thoughts about hopping in.

Allegedly, this convertible was the venue in which Springsteen wrote iconic hits 'Thunder Road' and 'Backstreets'. Even if that's folklore, he authentically did own it which ostensibly is more than good enough for fans.

"In '70s New Jersey, the car was still a powerful image," Springsteen wrote in his book 'Songs', via Asbury Park Press. 'That summer I bought my first set of wheels for $2,000. It was a '57 Chevy with dual, four-barrel carbs, a Hurst on the floor and orange flames spread across the hood." Read more here.
