(Radio.com) Luke Bryan's Kill the Lights Tour is winding down and as the date for his upcoming EP Farm Tour: Here's to the Farmer grows nearer he's started debuting new music.
A fan captured Bryan singing an acoustic version of a new tune, ostensibly called "Southern Gentlemen," at a recent show. The song praises the kind of love Bryan can offer his lady because he was reared in the south. The video picks up immediately with the opening lyrics.
"You looked at me like I was crazy / When I said 'ma'am' to that little old lady / You ain't heard talk like that lately / But I could see it's got you smiling / You say you still remember our first date me cooking you dinner / And how I didn't even try to kiss you at the end of the date," Bryan sings, accompanying himself on an acoustic guitar. The hook ends with a catchy nod to the title, "Ain't nobody gonna love you better than/ This southern gentleman."
It's not clear whether this will appear on Bryan's new EP, as he hasn't released the tracklist yet, but it seems like fitting subject matter for a tour paying tribute to all things agricultural. Bryan's new EP Farm Tour: Here's to the Farmer will be released September 23, and just a week or so later he'll launch his Farm Tour on October 5 in Gaston, SC. Watch "Southern Gentleman" here.
