(Radio.com) Against Me! contributed a new track "Haunting, Haunted, Haunts" to the Adult Swim Singles program. The song has faint Irish feel as if Against Me! were channeling The Pogues to some extent.
A rocking guitar riff kicks off the song and builds into rollicking drums and bass line that keep the dance-punk song moving. "Tonight I can't sleep because I'm haunted/ So I'm breaking spells of intention/ All I can see is a space in between/ The space where you're missing," Laura Jane Grace sings on the first verse, hitting an angrier tone on "missing" that segues into the chorus.
Against Me! will be donating their fee from the single to the Flint, Michigan Water Crisis Response. Besides embarking on the band's fall tour this September, Laura Jane Grace will be gearing up to release her memoir TRANNY: Confessions of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout on November 15th.
