Billy Corgan, the frontman of the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning iconic rock band, The Smashing Pumpkins, will launch his highly-anticipated new podcast, "The Magnificent Others," on February 5th via Bill Maher's Club Random Studios.

"The Magnificent Others" will bring listeners face-to-face with world-renowned artists, innovative entrepreneurs, trailblazing scientists, and visionary leaders who have dared to push boundaries and redefine what's possible. Liverpool's indie rockers Circa Waves have released the first chapter of their brand new album Death & Love Pt.1 and are celebrating by sharing the music video for "Let's Leave Together".

Death & Love Pt.1 was both terrifying and liberating to write, and is the first installment of urgent, 9-track hits of cathartic guitar-pop, serving as a powerful coping mechanism to help process frontman Kieran Shudall's near-death experience. Part 2 will come later this year. (continue)

Red Fang kicks off their 20th-anniversary celebrations with the March 14 release of Deep Cuts, an extensive 26-song collection of non-album tracks, covers, and previously unreleased singles.

A preview of the album arrives today with the release of "It's Always There", a track from the deluxe version of Whales and Leeches. "I remember really liking the melancholic vibe of 'It's Always There,' but Aaron and I had no vocal ideas coming to mind," recalls Bryan Giles. "When I lived in San Diego, I became friendly with Pall Jenkins, and was always a fan of Three mile Pilot and The Black Heart Procession, so it was exciting for me to enlist his help bringing the song to life. Legendary rock band Foreigner has officially entered Spotify's esteemed Billions Club, achieving a monumental milestone with their 1999 remastered version of the timeless classic, "I Want To Know What Love Is." The track, one of the band's most iconic hits, has now surpassed one billion streams, joining an elite group of music legends that includes The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, AC/DC, and Elton John, but very few others.

West of Rome just released their new album "Keep It Fly in the Negative Zone" and to celebrate we asked Kevin Higginbotham to tell us about the song "Take a Ride with the Evil One." Here is the story:

"Take a Ride with the Evil One" was written in a motel in Nanjing, China. After kicking out some John Denver karaoke at local pub, I met a Chinese woman who specialized in procuring Chinese babies for adoption in the USA. I guess you could say we didn't like each other. I wrote the song from the point of view of an unwitting child facing the false promises of a western upbringing sprinkled in with some direct quotes from a crew of Johns Hopkins diplomats-in-training who were certain these children would be better off in the US. I wasn't so sure. (continue)
