AC/DC have announced the second round of special 50th anniversary vinyl reissues of their classic albums, which are expected to ship on June 19th, and are now available for pre-order.

The band shared, "Power Up Your Collection with the Latest Surge of 50th Anniversary Vinyl! To continue the band's celebration of 50 years, the second wave of limited edition gold-coloured vinyl is now available for preorder. Get If You Want Blood You've Got It, Let There Be Rock, Ballbreaker, Stiff Upper Lip, Rock Or Bust, and '74 Jailbreak with an album-specific 12"x12" print featuring new AC/DC 50 artwork, suitable for framing." Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson revealed in a new interview with Ultimate Classic Rock that he has been jamming some of the band's classic songs with frontman/bassist Geddy Lee.

The legendary group playing their final show together in 2015 and officially disbanded following the tragic death of drummer/lyricist Neal Peart in January of 2020, but he had and Lee have recently jammed together for the first time in almost a decade. (continue)

KING 810 have announced their next project under the black rainbow, an episodic film series accompanied by a soundtrack of the same name. The follow up to 2023's follow my tears is said the be the group's most uniquely ambitious piece of work yet.

David Gunn, Eugene Gill, and familiar cohorts independently funded, wrote, directed, produced, filmed, acted, edited, and distributed under the black rainbow. The band has once again teamed up with producer Josh Schroeder for the writing and recording of the musical portion of the film. (continue)

Coheed and Cambria is sharing a rare stand-alone track, "The Joke" out today! The new song comes from the Vaxis II LP sessions, and the band is happy for it to finally see the light of day. It comes paired with the b-side "Deranged," a remixed and remastered version of the track which was previously released in 2011 as part of the Batman: Arkham City soundtrack.
