antiGUY gives his top 5 list of music stuff. Could be songs, people, a stupid trend... nothing is sacred to antiGUY
I'm not sure if you noticed but Neurotica has taken over Rocknworld.com for the month of July, renaming it NeuroticaWorld. That's right, one of our favorite bands is releasing a new album on the WWE's new record label SmackDown Records and gonna be rocking across the States this summer on Ozzfest. I didn't want our brothers (and sisters) over at Rocknworld.com to have all the fun, we wanted to do something here at antiMUSIC to celebrate Neurotica's new album and the beginning of their potential climb to the top of the rock heap. So I hit up Neurotica's frontman Kelly Shaefer and asked him to give us a special Top 5 List. The topic Kelly decided to go with is interesting. Not many people think about what bands have to do on the road to make it through. Having been on tour myself in the past, I know what kind of hell the road can be. You play for maybe an hour a night but spend the rest of the time doing press, meeting fans and then spending countless hours on the road and in hotel rooms between shows. It's enough to drive anyone nuts and the world is filled with stories of the exploits of bands on the road doing crazy s*** to keep from going completely insane. It's the little thing that you do to fill the hours that help keep you grounded. So here is Kelly to let us in on his secret plans of what he will need to survive Ozzfest 2002. Top 5 Things Neurotica Must Have To Survive On Ozzfest 2002 5) As much free sh#@ as possible 4) Met-rx bars and Mountain Dew 3) Pants with deep pockets so we can raid the buffets and stash extra food when we leave! 2) Our Djembe drums, we double as an African drum troupe when we are not bashing it out electrically! And the Number One Thing Neurotica Must Have To Survive On Ozzfest 2002 1. Sony PS2 with the most current Madden Football. Beware to the other Ozzfest bands we will crush you at Madden!! |
