"Columbus Day" is the debut release from the spunky alterna-pop-punk band out of Columbus, Ohio known as Twin Cam. While this CD does not break any new ground in the genre, it is perhaps one of the best independent alt-punk-pop CD out at the moment. With a strong since of melody, plenty of guitar and a rock solid rhythm section, vocalist/drummer Mike Sammons is given the chance to really shine vocally on all the tracks. A little edgier than Blink-182 but with as much style, "Columbus Day" delivers for fans looking for some good time punk influenced alternative rock.
