The highly anticipated debut from Jack Black's band Tenacious D lives up to the hype. Jack's humor shines through with an album dripping with sexual innuendo and outright vocal porn. Casting the lyrics aside, the music features some great hard rock as well as funky numbers. Vocally Jack Black may be the 21st century's answer to Meat Loaf. The band should have made the entire CD cover a parental advisory notice but aside from that it's great fun for the entire dysfunctional family.
