Chicagos' Victory Records has long been known as a haven for Punk and Hardcore bands, so it's a little surprising that they would attach themselves to a band like Thursday, surprising only until you listen to this album.
"Full Collapse" is the first full-length album for this New Jersey band. Indie rock with a hint of EmoCore, this is a CD that you'll listen to over and over again and never get sick of it.
The first thing you notice is the pain in the vocalists voice, you can almost see him breaking down while he's singing (having seen this band live, I can tell you, the same emotion comes across in that setting as well). The songs are songs all of us can relate to. This is best shown in 'Understanding In A Car Crash'. This is a song that the vocalist wrote after a close friend of his died in (obviously) a car crash.
If you're a fan of this genre, you'd be
stupid not to own this CD. It'll instantly make your Indie/Emo collection
a whole hell of a lot better, I promise.
