B.O.C. is one of the bands that just doesn't give up and that's a good thing judging by their latest studio offering "Curse Of The Hidden Mirror". When the band released "Heaven Forbid" in 1998 it was apparent that the magic that had propelled B.O.C. to international fame had withstood the test of time. Now they return with another album that just goes to show you why this band has endeared themselves to fans around the world for three decades.
The disc opens strong with "Dance On Stilts"
a song in the classic B.O.C. tradition. But they seem to stumble with the
second track, "Showtime" which comes across as a filler tune. They can't
all be hits and despite a couple of clunkers on here like "Showtime" they
more than makeup for it with tracks like "Dance on Stilts", "Pocket" and
"Here Comes That Feeling". All in all, this is a great collection
of new songs from this legendary group.
