The heavy four-piece knows how to rock.
They mix the old school metal of Megadeth with a more modern Soundgarden
feel to create some intense angry noise. Don't expect a collection
of drop tuned three power chord songs with these guys, the aren't afraid
to show their talent especially drummer Marco Castro who pounds the
skins mercilessly on all the tracks. Vocalist Gerrick Phillips attacks
the songs with a ferocious fervor in a style that encompasses Chris Cornell
meets Layne Staley and at heavier moments includes a dash of Rob Zombie.
Overall, a great debut from a band that sounds like they wouldn't be caught
dead at a shopping mall, in other words, this is a nice escape from the
"Mall-Core" scene.
