Eric Alexandrakis just may be the Ziggy
Stardust of this generation. His debut album I.V. Cantonia, is a concept
album that offers more then just songs that intertwine to tell a story.
Alexandrakis takes the listener on a voyage of discovery through sounds;
it has a surreal feel to it like Pink Floyd's "The Wall" as if you are
hearing the soundtrack of someone going insane. Alexandrakis explores
diverse styles from rock, pop to classical and sampling. This disc
is strange and disturbing but at the same time compelling as you hang on
to hear where Alexandrakis is going to take you next.
