Jennifer Lopez's pop music career can best
be described as a B movie actress that aspires to be Madonna. The music,
if I might dare to call it that is really just a throw back to late 80's
Madonna without the flare or substance. While Lopez has a passable voice,
the music is too generic and mundane to make it memorable. While she may
be enjoying a brief bit of success as a pop star she might be wise to keep
her acting chops up to snuff, because R&B/dance singers are a dime
a dozen and Jennifer doesn't stand out enough to put her ahead of the pack.
Then again, the public that buys this trash seems to be obsessed with mediocrity,
so she might just be the next Madonna?
