This band has a name that sounds like the title of one of those wacky, over-the-top movies seen on the SyFy channel, and the music found within is just as much fun. A-side "Love is What You Bring on Home" is a frantic slice of heavy stoner rock with a little bit of punk attitude and Primus-style quirkiness thrown in. Singer Enver Koneya delivers the song's vocals in an impassioned and slightly unhinged manner, simulating the action that might occur right after, uh, that love is brought on home. And while "Love is" is a raucous celebration of fidelity, B-side "Gadabout" is no such thing, and it is appropriately just a little bit less feral. For a trio these guys rock pretty hard and bass man Travis Williams reels off some hot and lightning-fast riffs throughout, particularly noticeable on the B-side. Drummer Braden McGaw rounds out the group and he plays with manic intensity on both cuts. The single's picture sleeve is a cool bonus; Aaron John Gregory's art depicting dinos reveling in having defeated a giant snake in battle is suitable for framing.
