Produced by On the Blue, the same folks who present the annual Moody Blues Cruise and the Yes Cruise to the Edge, The Lebrewski Cruise will offer cruisers an incredible line-up of bands and an immersion in craft beer tastings and beer-related activities. The headlining band will be O.A.R. and Kyle Hollingsworth of the String Cheese Incident, a craft beer brewer himself, will be the host of the event.
Hollingsworth will also perform as will his SCI bandmates Michael Kang and Jason Hann. Also on the roster are Young Dubliners, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Alpha Rev, Molly Hatchet, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, the Samples, Jared & the Mill, Blackfoot featuring Rickey Medlocke, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, Doc Holliday, Stolen Rhodes, Euforquestra, Hollis Brown, Sour Diesel Trainwreck, Andy Frasco, Raelyn Nelson and Thomas Wynn & the Believers.
And the cruise isn't called the Lebrewski Cruise on a whim. More than 20 craft breweries will be featured on the cruise including Cigar City, Terrapin, Oskar Blues, Ballast Point, Boulder Beer, Funky Buddha, Hoppin' Frog, Left Hand and quite appropriately for a cruise, Heavy Seas. Celebrity brewers making an appearance will include Ron Lindenbusch from Lagunitas Brewing Company, Jeremy Moyner from Stone Brewing , Jeff Brown from Boulder Beer and Joey Redner from Cigar City Brewing.
Besides all the beer tasting events, suds lovers can learn how to pair up beer and foods, attend a brewmaster Q&A and a brewer roundtable and participate in a cooking event with some of the performers. There'll be a workshop for home brewers and beer pong aplenty for everyone. Most of the performing artists will also offer a meet-and-greet opportunity.
After leaving Miami the Lebrewski Cruise will call at the Bahamian ports of Nassau/Paradise Island and Stirrup Cay, giving cruisers plenty of time to experience Bahamian culture and the islands' famed beaches.
The Lebrewski Cruise will be taking place March 1-5, 2016. For more information or to book a cabin visit http://lebrewskicruise.com/
