G2P - EP
You can hear Nirvana's grunge influence on "Purge," although the guitar dance groove Shepherd creates for "Animal" brings early Red Hot Chilli Peppers to mind. "Me" is also a funky little number. The project closes with "Scream," which is a bit Eddie Van Halen-esque in its guitar intro.
Everybody loves a dance groove - even diehard rockers. G2P is not afraid to combine love for hard rock with beats that induce movement. One imagines there's as much George Clinton as Metallica in this act's collective record collection. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. This project, even in its brevity, shows off this Florida band's extensive skills.
