The guys are thinking big with their Curb Records debut, a five-song E.P. featuring the insanely catchy Come on Home, a delicate piano-driven tune currently soaring up the charts. OBB are a Christian band and the message of the song, encapsulated in the chorus If you're out there lookin' for love/Come on home, is essentially one of faith. The song has a universal appeal though to anyone who has endured a break-up, and since lead singer Zach is only 21-years-old while Jacob and Nich are still teenagers, Come on Home will resonate heavily with young females, especially those who are in love for the first time.
Blessed with good looks on top of their talents, the brothers could easily be pegged for a boy band but that's not really what they're about; their brand of vocal pop music is more than mere fluff. Zach has a voice a bit reminiscent of Rob Thomas and OBB has a thorough understanding of the pop charts; the soaring All I Need Is You and the bouncy, live-life-to-the-fullest Wildfire are both aimed squarely at the Top 10. Song of a Savior and Through His Eyes are more overtly about God but that does not preclude either song from serious hit potential just because they reflect strong beliefs; Through His Eyes in particular could easily reach the same heights as the faith-imbued Mr. Mister oldie Kyrie Eleison. And like with the Mr. Mister hit, fans of OBB will be hard pressed not to just sing along here; the message will always be there later.
