Rockapalooza Ohio Back to College Jam
September 8, Cleveland, Ohio

Taking place at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in suburban Cleveland, this last-of-summer blowout will be headlined by The Devil Wears Prada, Machine Gun Kelly, Attack Attack!, Twista, Inspectah Deck, Bobaflex, Texas in July, Ionia, iPhonic and Cleveland's very own TEZO. Among the acts appearing on secondary stages are Autumn Burning, Helix Reign, Jet City Vega, Skinbound, Oceans of Atrophy, Wixor and Black Cloud Syndrome. Pop Montreal
September 19-23, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The most anticipated show at Pop Montreal this year is the pairing of former Talking Head David Byrne with St. Vincent, also known as Annie Clark. Their show will take place on September 21; before and afterwards you can catch an eclectic bunch of performances by the likes of Grimes, Purity Ring, Cadence Weapon, Cuff the Duke, Katatonia, Hot Snakes, Chevalier Avant Garde, Eliza Gilkyson, Mozart's Sister, Deerhoof, Austra, Rich Aucoin, Change of Heart, Soupcans and many more.

ATP I'll Be Your Mirror
September 21-23, Manhattan, New York City

Originally scheduled to take place in New Jersey, the ATP I'll Be Your Mirror Festival has moved to Pier 36 in Manhattan. The line-up remains stellar: Philip Glass & Tyondai Braxton, Braids, Janeane Garofalo, Lightning Bolt, Lee Renaldo, Chavez, Joseph Arthur, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tall Firs, Blanck Mass, Endless Boogie, Kurt Braunohler, the Psychic Experiment and many others.

Gonerfest 9
September 27-30, Memphis, Tennessee

Put together by the good folks at Goner Records, Gonerfest 9 features bands from all over the world like Australian acts Mad Macka, Slug Guts and Native Cats, French groups Cecila & the Sauerkrauts and Jack of Hearts and out-of-this-world participants Spits who claim to be from Mars. Also appearing are Hussy, Legs, Bad Sports, No Bails, River City Tanlines and more.
