"Safe" is a further departure from their roots as Contemporary Christian artists with pop tunes with a laid back atmosphere designed to make you feel good. While the atmosphere on "Safe" is laid back the songs are full of catchy tunes filled with easy to follow lyrics.

Among the songs found on "Safe" are fan favourites, originals, and songs from the movie "We're All Angels" � a film about the singing duo. Included in the fan favorites are covers of U2's "One", and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" from Simon and Garfunkel. DeMarco also performs a Latin rendition of the Franz Schubert piece "Ave Maria" with only deMarco and a guitar. Found among the originals is "Where the Sun Meets the Sea" and "It's Okay" from the movie "We're All Angels". "It's Okay" has become a top 40 hit on the Billboard Dance Music Charts.
