Steve Bertrand - Pain is a Megaphone Review

by Sherrill Fulghum

.
This Vermont native now makes his home in Los Angeles. Over the years he has been singing and playing guitar first as a member of a band and now as a solo artist. Steve Bertrand first came on the scene after forming the band The Tories. When The Tories broke up Avion - French for airplane - was formed. While the boys from Avion are on holiday Steve decided to record an album of his own. "Pain is a Megaphone" is the solo debut for Bertrand and the songs were written over a 12 week period.

Avion may be on holiday but Bertrand picks up where the band left off without missing a beat with this album of 10 songs about love and life. Fans of the Avion hit song "Seven Days Without You" will not only recognize Bertrand's voice; but the style and sound of Avion as well. "Pain is a Megaphone" is a must have CD for fans of The Tories and Avion.
