Slash was arrested in LA over the past weekend and charged for assaulting his girlfriend. What happened? The unnamed women pressed charges against the guitarist for an incident that was said to had taken place on July 19th at a West Hollywood Hotel. 

Many people who know the guitarist don't believe the charges. His friends have rushed to his aid, claiming that the charges come from the bitter fall out of a failed relationship. Those closest to Slash have a hard time buying that the mild mannered guitarist would hit his girlfriend. To his friends he is known not to have a temper. They go on to say that when the real story comes out Slash will be cleared. 

Slash was in a L.A. area recording studio working on material for his latest album with his group Slash's Snakepit. He was arrested and taken to a West Hollywood Police Station formally book and charged then released on a $50,000 bail bond. 

The only two people who know the real truth are Slash and his ex Girlfriend, now that things have reached this stage the truth is bound to come out. So in an attempt at being responsible journalist, we ask you the reader to reserve judgment until all the facts are in.
