Cypress hill has two albums scheduled to hit the stores before the end of the year, but they are already hard at work on a new one. They have enlisted the help of members of Korn, Fear Factory, Rage Against the Machine and others to help them compose their first ever "Rock" album. Supposedly they already have over 10 songs done, but with an album already scheduled for release by their label Sony in November, we will have to wait until next year at least to hear this new direction for the band.
This
will be the first time Cypress Hill released a entire rock orientated album.
Before now they have mixed in rock tracks with their urban sounds. They
tried in the past to release a full length Rock album, but the powers that
be at Sony turned the idea down. Bad Call. But hey it wouldn't be the first
time some stuffed shirts at a label were wrong.
