Ozzy Osbourne together with his wife/manager Sharon, son Jack and Daughter Kelly (sounding like the Jetsons theme here) teamed up with WWF wrestler Triple H to officially announce the details of this years North American Ozzfest. The announcement took place earlier today (Thur. 3-21) at the WWF themed World restaurant in New York City. It appears that the WWF will be an official sponsor of the tour this year. So you can expect plenty of WWF related activities to go down on this years tour, including appearances from Pro Wrestlers and other such fun.
System of a Down will be taking the headlining spot right before Ozzy closes the show each night. Other main stage acts include the band formally known as Civilian which features Chris Cornell and Brad Wilk, Tom Morello and Tim C from Rage Against the Machine (this new band is as yet unnamed, it appears their planed name Civilian will not be used by the group). P.O.D., Drowning Pool, Adema and Zakk Wyldes Black Label Society will round out the main stage.
Rob Zombie will headline the second stage with a stripped down show, minus all the theatrics. Also on the second and third stages: Meshuggah, Apex Theory, Lost Prophets, Pulse Ultra, Neurotica (Won our 1999 Album of the Year nod!), Flaw, Mushroomhead, Glassjaw, Used, Soil, Ill Nino, Chevelle, Seether and Otep. (Note: all of the second and third stage acts will play every date on the tour more info when we have it)
The North American tour will kick off on

8th. See Dates Below
