Josh [Todd] has recently decided to quit Buckcherry and pursue a different musical path. He was no longer having fun being in Buckcherry and the process of making the new record had become quite dissapointing [sic] to him. He thought it best to move on at this time.
He appreciates all the support from all the BC fans and hopes to have some new music for all of you soon.
At this time, Keith [Nelson] is unsure as to what his future plans are.

Joshua Todd, singer of Buckcherry has abruptly quit the band. Unfortunately Keith will not be continuing on without him which means that Buckcherry has officially broken up.
The band was reportedly working on their
third studio album just prior to the breakup. Vocalist Joshua Todd was
also in the runnings to be frontman for a new group featuring former Guns
N Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, nicknamed Buck
N Roses, but we were told last week by someone close to that project that
Todd would not be part of the band after all. (see
