Launch Media is reporting that country legend Dolly Parton will include a cover of the Led Zeppelin classic Stairway to Heaven on her forthcoming album, Halos And Horns.
The project is being billed as Dollys bluegrass album and Dolly is also serving as producer for the record, which is expected to be in stores in July. The album will also feature a cover of the hit song If by the 70s soft-rock group Bread.
To support the album, Dolly will hit the road for the first time in 10 years. . "I won't be touring as much as I did in the old days," Parton said at a press conference last week at her Dollywood theme park. "But I'm going to be doing some special tours."
According to the Launch report the concerts
will feature a two-hour set that will mix songs from the new album and
past Parton hits.
