As we reported earlier this week former Beatle Paul McCartney is putting together a benefit concert to help the September 11th relief effort. Reports are now saying that the show is planned for October 20th at Madison Square Garden in New York.
According British music magazine New Music Express McCartney is attempting to round up the remaining members of Led Zeppelin � Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones for a reunion performance at the benefit concert.
According to Allstar News, another former
Beatle, Ringo Starr, is already confirmed to perform. Other artists invited
but as yet unconfirmed include Bruce Spingsteen, Eminem, The Who, David
Bowie, Limp Bizkit, Billy Joel and Neil Young.
