Swedish death metal band, Opeth will soon embark on their first headlining tour of North America. The band is touring in support of their latest release, the critically acclaimed �Blackwater Park�, which was released in North America earlier this month by Koch Records. 

The band will also headline two metal festivals during their trek across America: the New Jersey's Metal Meltdown 3 on April 6th and the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Ma on April 14th.  They will be joined on the road for various dates by Nevermore, Angel Dust, Amorphis, Shadow�s Fall and God Forbid (see tour dates below).
