It looks like the post Ozzfest Black Sabbath tour dates with Disturbed we told you about last week are not going to happen after all. Disturbed Posted the following message on their website, Unfortunately the Black Sabbath tour dates after Ozzfest, have officially been canceled. No official reasoning has been given at this time. Stay tuned.
The tour was set to hit a series of east coast markets after both bands complete their run on the Ozzfest this summer. The Ozzy camp says that the tour was scrapped due to pressure from his record label, Epic, for the Ozzman to go into the studio and complete work on his forthcoming solo album. The new album is set for release in October, and will feature Zakk Wylde on guitar, Robert Trujillo on bass and Mike Bordin on drums.
In other Ozzfest news: Godhead left the
tour on June 30th to tour with Rammstein, OTEP and Systematic are set to
exit after this weeks show in West Palm Beach (July 13th). No One and Pressure
4-5 will join the tour the next day and remain until Ozzfest concludes
on August 12th in Holmdel, N.J.
