Worcester, Mass. - MassConcerts is proud
to announce that the third annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival
will return to the Palladium in Worcester,
Mass., on Friday, April 13 and Saturday,
April 14.
Exceeded in attendance by only the long-running
Milwaukee Metalfest, the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival has
quickly established itself as one of the
premier events of its kind in the U.S.
This year�s line-up looks to be the biggest yet with Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir, Nile, The Haunted, Lamb of God, Malevolent Creation, Catastrophic (ex-Obituary), and Monstrosity confirmed for Friday night. Saturday�s line-up will include Meshuggah, Amorphis, Opeth, Shadows Fall, Dying Fetus, Gorguts, God Forbid, Zao, Living Sacrifice, All Out War, Diecast, and Skinless. Other acts appearing on the festival include All That Remains, Poison the Well, God Below, Exhumed, Cannae, The Hope Conspiracy, Killswitch Engage, Nullset, One King Down, Blood Has Been Shed, and Vital Remains.
The show will once again take place on the two stages in the Palladium. Record labels, vendors, and record distributors will set up shop in the balcony of the upstairs room. Century Media, Earache, Wonderdrug, Hydrahead, Relapse, and Metal Blade have all made the their presence at this show an annual event. Band signings have also become a popular part of the festival.
Advance tickets are $25 for Friday, April 13 and $30 for Saturday, April 14. Two-day passes are $50. Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 17 at all Strawberries Record Stores, online at www.tickets.com, or by calling tickets.com at (800) 477-6849.
