The dates, lineup and official name for the tour we have dubbed PanteraFest have been announced. The Extreme Steel tour will kick off on June 20th in New Haven Conn and will feature Pantera, Slayer, Static-X, Skrape and Morbid Angel.
Pantera is touring in support of their
2000 release �Reinventing the Steel�, Static-X will be out supporting their
sophomore album, �Machine�, which hits stores on May 22nd. Slayer has a
new album in the works that is set for a summer release. Skrape will
be supporting their RCA debut �New Killer America�. According to the official
Morbid Angel website: �Steve Tucker will not be appearing with Morbid Angel
on their upcoming tours due to family and personal problems. The bass and
vocal duties will be handled by Jared Anderson (Hate Eternal).�
