Spock's Beard Offshoot Pattern-Seeking Animals Stream First Song05-15-2019
Spock's Beard offshoot Pattern-Seeking Animals are streaming their very first single, entitled "No Burden Left To Carry" from their forthcoming debut self-titled album (Out July 5th). The group features Spock's Beard Ted Leonard and Dave Meros, joined by their former bandmate Jimmy Keegan, and their long-time collaborator John Boegehold, who inspired and spearheaded the project. He had this to say, "Pattern-Seeking Animals was a clean slate so I found myself drawing on a few different musical influences and using some contemporary production ideas and sounds that I probably wouldn't use with Spock's Beard for various reasons. "My goal was to produce music that's progressive and intricate while keeping things immediate and melodic. Whether a song is four minutes or 10-minutes long, I didn't want more than a few bars go by without some kind of instrumental or vocal hook." Listen to the song here
