Adele Dedicates Concert To The Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Split

(Radio.com) Adele dedicated her New York City concert Tuesday night (Sept. 20) to the demise of Brangelina as news came out that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were ending their marriage.

"I need to address the elephant in the room," Adele told fans at Madison Square Garden. "It's the end of an era!" She went on to dedicate her entire set to the power couple, saying she is "so, so sad" about their impending divorce, reports NME. Angelina Jolie filed for divorce citing 'irreconcilable differences."

Her attorney told People Magazine, "Angelina Jolie Pitt has filed for dissolution of the marriage. This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time."

Pitt also released a statement to People this morning (Sept. 21) saying "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time." Watch Adele's here.
