Sia Releases New Song 'The Greatest' Features Kendrick Lamar
. ![]() (Radio.com) Sia surprised fans with the release of a new song called "The Greatest". The catchy pop track includes a verse from Kendrick Lamar as well as an accompanying video that stars dancer Maddie Ziegler. Hand clapped rhythms surround the song as Sia's hopeful lyrics drive her forward. "Running outta breath but I got stamina . . . don't give up, I won't give up," she sings at the beginning of the song. Later, Lamar adds to the positive message as he raps about continuing in the face of adversity. "I transform with pressure, I'm hands-on with effort/ I fell twice before, my bounce back was special/ Let downs will get you and the critics will test you/ But the strongest survive another scar may bless you." While Lamar's verse isn't featured in the nearly six-minute music video for "The Greatest," the song still leaves its mark with Ziegler as the star, leading a group of children in interpretive dance through an abandoned and dilapidated apartment building.
