(WBR) Disturbed has released a new virtual reality experience for their hit version of the Simon and Garfunkel classic "The Sound of Silence". We were sent the following details:

The video was produced by Dekker Dreyer of Clever Fox, and was directed by Matt Mahurin, who also direct the official video for the single. Mahurin had the following to say:

"It was a thrill and a challenge (and maybe a bit ironic) to use the innovative and immersive world of VR to explore the disconnect of direct human connection that results from the addictive world of social media."

Fans can experience "The Sound of Silence" through Littlstar's apps for the web, iOS, Android, VR headsets including the Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, Sony's Bravia TV, Apple TV and the new PSVR.

INSTRUCTIONS: If you have a VR headset (Oculus, PlayStation VR, Samsung Gear, or HTC Vive) - please download the Littlstar app from the relevant app stores on each device. "The Sound of Silence" experience will be front and center once you launch the app.

Don't have a headset? You can still view the experience in 360 on your phone by downloading the Littlstar app for free here: http://smarturl.it/littlstar

Or by going to http://smarturl.it/sos.vr. Click the HD button in the bottom right hand corner of the player for optimal viewing.

To explore the full 360 degrees, move the video view by moving your phone or by using your touchscreen. If you're on a desktop, click and drag your cursor.
