Pharrell's Streams New Track 'Runnin'
. ![]() (Radio.com) Pharrell has lent his musical talents to a new film. Following his contribution to Despicable Me 2 (the smash hit "Happy"), the singer/songwriter/producer extraordinaire has written a new song called "Runnin,'" which will be featured in the soundtrack of the movie Hidden Figures. The soulful cut features Pharrell's sultry falsetto alongside a horn section and backing singers. In the song, he recalls summers in Virginia as a child spent studying instead of eating ice cream. Hidden Figures is the story of three African American women who worked behind-the-scenes throughout several NASA missions. The film opens in theaters on December 25. Check out the song here.
