Foghat Announce 'Under the Influence' Double LP Vinyl Release
. ![]() Rock veterans Foghat have announced that they will be releasing a new vinyl edition their latest studio album "Under The Influence" on October 21st. The new edition will be released as a double LP on 180-gram vinyl by the group's label Foghat Records and select independent record retailers will also be offering posters with purchase. Guitarist Bryan Bassett had this to say about the vinyl release, "A couple of things I love about new vinyl releases is the re-emergence of an old art form - ie: album cover art and the return of high-quality analog audio played through great old stereos being pulled from the garage and resurrected." Drummer Roger Earl adds, "It's black, it's shiny, it's beautiful and some really nice noises come out of it! And you can actually read the liner notes and see the photos!"
