Garth Brooks Plays Rare Intimate Acoustic Set
. ![]() (Radio.com) Garth Brooks has been riding high ever since the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced last week that he had earned his seventh diamond certified album with 2007's The Ultimate Hits. To celebrate, he's been thanking fans with a handful of special shows. On Monday (October 3), Brooks stopped by the famed Bluebird Cafe in Nashville for an intimate acoustic set with some of his favorite songwriters. He announced the show on Facebook through his Studio G update just hours before it was set to take place. Brooks is currently on a world tour with his wife Tricia Yearwood, who was by her husband's side yesterday at the Bluebird and even joined him onstage. He'll return to Nashville on October 24 to play a free show at Ascend Ampitheater. Watch Brooks and friends sing "The Dance" here.
