Adele Goes Old School For Australian Tour Announcement

(Radio.com) Letters may be more old fashioned than tweets, but they are certainly more personal. And even though she was confined to social media, Adele went with a personal touch Monday (November 14th) by tweeting a handwritten letter announcing her upcoming Australian tour. "G'Day, it's me," she wrote, playing with the opening line of her hit single, "Hello." She continued, "I was wondering if after 10 years in the game you'd finally like to meet me in: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide?" She added that she'd be performing in the round, outdoors and in stadiums in an effort to get to see as many fans as possible. "I can't wait," she concluded with her signature and a big heart. The announcement follows a mysterious TV ad that appeared across the country on Sunday (November 13th). According to Sky News Australia, the singer teased fans with a brief commercial that showed only her eyes while her song "Hello" played in the background. Read more here.
